The Capital have achieved their first break,being chosen to go through to the last 21 bands in the "3 First Cut Awards" National Comp...One Judge ,Graham Lowe ( former Kasabian manager , now A&R man for Island Records.Another , a "Fall out Records" A&R man...So thats very flattering.
Next stage of Comp involves a short tour round Universities With "The Rumblestrips" - dates TBC
Its a long way off but , the winners get a 7 date support tour with " The Frattelis "
NB.No dates in Birmingham area..We've tried.And tried.."Head and brick wall time"
NB.Short of buying the place we also cant get a sniff of a slot in our local Worcester main venue...
NB.We are rapidily running out of room on the Band wagon
